I know Triumph isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but I can’t get enough of him (and his “owner”, Robert Smigel). Add in Weird Al, who couldn’t stop from breaking and is a good sport, and this was glorious.

Interpreted the subject line as “Triumph interviews unusual Artificial Intelligence (AI)”. I hoped to see how the AI would respond to insult jokes. I’m disappointed (but not disappointed in BoingBoing).

Triumph is so weird to me. The comedy is so crappy and low-brow that I really feel like I should hate it, but somehow it just works. I don’t know how Robert Smigel does it, but he balances perfectly on that fine line between going too far, and not going too far enough.
