Absolutely. These are what I referred to as “by-catch” elsewhere. NYC saw a huge uptick in unattended deaths at home during the worst part of their crisis for these exact reasons. And while I do not know how the epidemiologists will parse these deaths in a future post mortem of the whole disastrous shit show, I agree, in my book these are absolutely covid-related (or at least covid-adjacent) deaths.
