I have not watched “Z Nation” but in “Chaos Theory” the immune guy has no desire to cross the country to work with the government.

The immune prisoner character in “Z Nation” is ambivalent about making the journey.
for indie zombie fiction, you can’t forget about Pedal Zombies, which is a beautiful, weird anthology of feminist zombie scifi that is also full of bikes and biker chicks and is amazing.
