I like Jon Klassen’s books. The ‘discussion’ we always used to have after reading ‘This Is Not My Hat’ at storytime always took longer than actually reading the book.
“What do you think happened?” “I think the big fish beat up the little fish.” “No, the big fish ate the little fish.” “No, if the big fish ate the little fish, how would he get his hat back?”
