Mom was once chased by a swan, who eventually handed her off to a German shepherd who also chased her. A bad day for mom, but years later she was able to laugh abt it w/a sort of side-eye.
This occurance was of course far outnumbered by much pleasanter animal experiences.

Believe it or else, she was once also chased by an angry St Bernard of all creatures! S/he up and took a dislike to Little Gloria, chased her, and made her cry.
She somehow escaped all three entirely unscathed!
Mom is obviously the unicorn of these anecdotes, esp since she never stopped loving birbs nor ees puppers!
