They tore the original building down and have since redubbed it the “Beltline” Kroger… LIterally, a week before they closed the building, there was a murder there… I don’t think there have been any murders there since they re-opened…
That whole part of town is totally gentrified now… although the Clermont Lounge persists somehow… Anyways, Long Live Blondie, an ATL icon!
