One tech at my first employer lost a toe to a brown recluse spider bite, likely acquired on a visit to an offsite facility up in the Santa Susana mountains. The wife of a colleague at my latest employer told me his wife got bitten on her butt while sunbathing in their garden; he did not go into any further details.

The “nice” dog who went viral after being caught in a video “waving” with her paw to receive “affection” from customers at the exit of a supermarket in Catanduva, São Paulo, was rescued from the brink of death in 2019 and is currently considered the ‘chief’ employee of the owner’s motorbike workshop.
