I watch a lot of videos at the Save a Fox rescue’s youtube account. They save babies as well as full grown foxes. The grown foxes who like babies are so good with them, even though they’re fixed and have none of their own. Finnegan follows babies around, trying to give them his treats, treats for which he’ll fight another grown fox, even his friends. He also tries to give them his favorite toys. He follows them around, making sure they’re OK, and keeping away the foxes he doesn’t trust with them 
He and others also groom them and play with them.
The ones who don’t like the babies make this perfectly clear by their avoidance and/or screaming at them
Foxes can be very screamy creatures when they dislike another fox, or their actions.
