The dialog that popped into my head immediately was the cat saying “What? I wasn’t going to eat it. See? Cuddles!” and when the camera pans around to the rat, the rat mouthing the words “HELP ME” silently.
Me, too! Looked like a definite hostage situation, with the cat in the classic “raking” position. Rat staying perfectly still…
