can you quit with the pretense that meeting a business casual dress code and then -not- putting up a public stink about it is ‘groveling’? In reality you can’t complain about oppressive rhetoric that you’re using yourself, If you don’t want pretentious arguments made, put them down. Be the change!
The employee is entitled to the tickets, under the conditions. They can change the conditions, surely, and maybe there is a perfect egalitarian policy out there for them to negotiate for in their union negotiations - but what I don’t think should happen is people other than professionals determining what is best for their own business.
I have my own business to mind.
