um no it cannot be gravity

gravity always pulls straight down by definition

And should not be magnetism either, as the fields lines are oriented in the same way in both hemispheres.

OK, now I need to take a walk and pay more attention to the one growing in my neighbor’s front yard.
I looked just now on street view but it’s kind of distorted, though it does seem to lean south.

*Edit. It does in fact lean south, as noticed on our dog walk yesterday evening.
