I’m not sure that word has the same effect; a mutant hybrid of poodles and octopi sounds rather… disturbing.
But then again, you once told me that “disturbing” is kinda your thing, right?

…and to get technical, a more appropriate plural according to (archaic) Greek structure would be ‘octopods’
