I have to agree, that’s one of the best visualizations of a country’s budget I’ve seen. We use a similar chart at work to detail software in our environment, but this is a way better use for it. And you can zoom in to get to seemingly infinitely smaller details. Definitely would love to see the United States budget broken out like this.
It’s conspicuous that there’s no mention of EU funding on there. I guess they’ve subtracted the UK contribution from VAT income (since that’s how it’s calculated), and not shown the rebate…?

There’s Less own resources contribution to EU and Net expenditure transfers to the EU
They’ve got the US budget for 2016 too
For the US version, is there a big ultra-vanta-black box where money goes in but doesn’t come out called “Defense Spending”
