Uhm…yes of course…I do…know…about those…things.
If you watch footage from the International Space Station, you’ll notice that some of the digital cameras they use have a lot of ‘dead’, or ‘stuck’ pixels. That’s for exactly the same reason as this film footage has marks, although fortunately it’s due to to spending years in a medium-radiation environment, rather than a short time in a high-radiation environment at Chernobyl.
