That is great. It’s fun to see someone with the passion and knowledge to make his plans work.


Hahaha, that’s awesome! I’m imagining myself swooping in with some sort of battery-powered triplane, blitzing him with nerf darts before flying into the sunset yelling “ze Red Baron strikes again!”


It’s not “103 parts,” it’s FAA Part 103-legal, meaning it’s technically classified as an ultralight, and therefore exempt from registration and inspection requirements.


“103 parts” … that is quite possibly the funniest thing I’ve read this month.


I like the part where he’s from Dayton… That’s appropriate.

I hope he realizes that the maH ratings on batteries are optimistic.
