Thanks for leaving out the part where the eagles were eventually separated and flew away seemingly unharmed. /s
Martinson said the eagles eventually separated and flew away, apparently unharmed.
Whew.
One time I found a little brown bat lying on the ground near work, in the little circle drive by the front door. I used some sticks to move him to the side walk. It was alive but just lying there panting.
So i went inside to try to find some gloves and a box and a bat rescue in the area, but when I came back out it got up and flew away, so I guess he was ok?
A quick google search shows there are eagle rescue places in Minnesota. The Potawatomi have a very successful aviary in OK.
fucking Eagles man, just anywhere is good
Used to be there were no bald eagles left in the country, now there’s so many they can’t help running into each other and getting all tangled up. Another success story for the Endangered Species Act.
or: “This entanglement was made possible by the Endangered Species Act”
There were no Bald Eagles in Plymouth when I lived there. I’m so happy they were separated safely and successfully.
Whatever that’s a metaphor for, it’s a bit on-the-nose.
In other recent news
“It could’ve went wrong and they just didn’t let go in time,”
They do both have a somewhat bewildered “oops” look, I guess
Ah, Mlive, always covering the news that matters most! They give us squirrel news, but if I want to find out about a crime or weird thing that happened in Ann Arbor, I have to go to one of the Detroit TV station’s news sites to read about it. /r
yeah, i’d wager it was a courtship “death spiral” neither one of which “chickened out”
prior “art”: Eagles found locked together after ‘death spiral’ in Apple Valley
It’s like a Chinese finger trap, but with talons.
I saw some “freedom” flash before my eyes. Wow…
Did you see the town in Alaska that’s literally plagued by them?
Same metro area! Apple Valley was an exurb when I was growing up, more of a surburb now.
Props to them. My problem is early release.
