Watching this hurts my brain. The scene cuts are fine, but the disjointed/dissimilar dialog is too jarring for me to concentrate on what is being said.
I have the same thing occur when I’m speaking Spanish and the person I’m speaking to switches to English. For 3-5 seconds their accent throws me off and I think that they’re still speaking Spanish and it’s then that I realize why the words aren’t making sense, and my brain has to do some quick post-processing to replay those few seconds back in English so I can understand what was said.
