That was a great short. You are right - the backs are fascinating in these. My wife is a talented sticher and has a needlework supply shop. I’ve seen the backs of a lot of works, from beginners to talented stichers, as well as pieces from “production” stichers for hire - and the backs tell an entire story of their own about how the person works, and how the piece was done over time.
