Quite a wonderful pairing of sound and shapes, especially when some of the more complex patterns emerge.

Wonderful? Sound? That piano hasn’t been tuned in a thousand years. I’m sure it was an aesthetic decision, but a very bad one. I’m hoping my ears get better over night.

Reproducing this would be an interesting exercise for an apprentice vector animator, in something like Flash or HTML5. I imagine you could automate it much, much more easily than it was originally created.

Here’s a cube in a cube in a cube I animated, taking advantage of perspective.

Enjoy.

It feel like this needs a Ken Nordine voice-over.

At long-last, I know how to triforce.
