OH, they cheat by rotating the OBJECT to get those perfect curves. Derr. Now I know.
There is some hella fancy engravers still out there, as well as in the past. When I was in Italy at the El Duce palace in Venice I saw some amazing examples of 400-500 year old Beretta hand cannons and muskets with gold and silver engraving. I couldn’t find a pic, but here are some neat old school engraved ones.
