I always wanted to learn how to engrave like that; a good engraving can turn even the cheapest, plainest object into something fine.

Reminds me of Sarajevo Roses, mortar blasts they filled in with red resin all over the city. Our war tour guide in Mostar had plans to add some in his city since they were so popular with tourists and serve as powerful reminders of the recent past.
