Actually, the movie poster says “hoshi no orfeusu” which means (literally translated) “Orpheus of the Stars”, not “Metamorphosis”. Maybe “Metamorphosis” was what it was called in the States?


A Sanrio rock opera! No, really.

This was their big splashy attempt at a mainstream US hit – modeled closely after Fantasia (note the familiar-looking Chernobog in the poster), but it was way too esoteric.


It was “Winds of Change” in the States.
