It’s fun to watch nearly any craftsman in their element–the surety and precision of their movements, the flow of the craft from start to finish, the beauty of raw materials being transformed into a working object–all wonderful. YT has a great deal of similar videos of luthiers of all stripes making instruments and I have yet to find one I didn’t enjoy. Here’s one from the list:

I guess it only makes sense that to craft a violin masterfully with hand tools, that you should also know how to play the violin, to be able to test it.

What I am trying to say is, that guy is pretty awesome.
