Welsh town elects world's first non-binary mayor

Nouns in Welsh are gendered but there are third person pronouns so it’s not a problem as far as i know, as a language it’s been modernised a lot over the decades.

Good on Bangor though, it’s a university town so Owen must have had a lot of student support but still a great achievement and makes one hopeful to think there aren’t bigots everywhere even though they have had loads of abuse online. I should point out that the transphobe Helen Mary Jones is no long an MS (Member of the Senedd).
