Damn that’s a big ray.
wikipedia now says they can grow up to 300 kg
but just 2 days ago the wiki page said it “may reach 600 kg (1,300 lb) in weight.”
I’m going to believe that somewhere in that river there are rays twice this size

I watched some normal sized stingrays foraging near shore this past weekend. They dig deep holes with their mouths looking for food and then move on. I imagine that this monster left some giant sized pits for people to fall into.
