I remember seeing this decades ago, Babe Winkelman catching a sturgeon bigger than he is and thinking that I’d be pretty worried that thing would drag me away. “Babe gets dragged around with the might of the sturgeon on the end of the line. Why? Babe is not in a boat but in an inner tube!”:

Was travelling in Gilli Air (an island near Bali) a few months back, many places were offering “dive with the giant shark” trips - this is not a rare thing

one of the remaining items on my bucket list is to dive with whale sharks!
i was so close to getting in the tank at Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta back in 2013, but the event was canceled. i was refunded and only got to observe that huge shark from outside the glass.
magnificent creatures!
swimming with one in the wild would be a dream come true!
