Fascinating. Although the factory isn’t German at all.

Yes, the documentary was made by the German national television channel ARD, but about a minute or so into the video, they head across the border, into Denmark, and that’s where these eggs are made.

I don’t know, but after reading The Jungle the difference might not be as big as we would like.

One small problem: The best Scotch eggs require soft-boiled eggs. Could these tubular eggs be capped somehow so the softer yolk doesn’t run out?
