Riot Grrl band Shower of Bastards just released a collection of 40’s musical interpretations titled Cover Grrl .

I just came to this topic from the topic on the album of Women covering Tom Waits:

Like I said, a few tracks I don’t know, but it looks like a sweet/sad album. I’m a little disappointed there isn’t Goin’ Out West on there.

Hopefully we hear a Shower of Bastards cover of that soon. (Also, I desperately wish I’d thought of the name Shower of Bastards for my highschool band)
