The phenomenon known as upwards spread of masking means low-frequency noise can be highly effective at masking higher-frequency noise.
Red noise really rumbles, too. A thunderstorm in certain synths!
I’ve missed rain here in Texas for months and sometimes I’ll play some Red in our living room to have a little weather.
If it’s Brown flush it down. Get ahead. Go with Red!

Gotta choose pink noise, because it helps me to sleep when road noise is bad. This headline made me consider playing it all day!
