I was raised in a trailer park, and I like material things. But I don’t need 'em. A decent TV can take up some wall space without infringing too much on living space. I love my books, but I also love my Kindle. Once my kids move out, I, for one, would be perfectly happy living in fewer than 100 square feet. Long as I have enough room to stand up and lie down (I’m 6’2", so that’s not necessarily a given with tiny houses), I’d be good.
