Workers rights and unions

It has to cost more to keep doing this kind of shit than it would to actually just, y’know, pay their workers fairly.

But then the whole power dynamic would be upset. /s

Assholes. That bit about:

a direct relationship with Whole Foods Market and its leadership, where Team Members have open lines of communication and every individual is empowered to share feedback directly with their team leaders, is best.”

Is such bullshit. Anyone who’s worked with large teams or groups and has a sincere desire to make sure concerns are heard and handled efficiently knows this is the absolute worst model. Ideally you want to be able to put out a proposal, have the various groups discuss and consolidate their ideas, then present them back to you.
But of course, that’s not what Amazon wants.

To get the rights we need, you need to get power. Here’s a study in how to do just that.

Biden needs to go to the location of every planned project in WV and talk it up to the people it will help.

Let Joe continue to tell his voters he doesn’t want to improve their lives.

Lower unemployment leads to inflation. A way to fight inflation is raising taxes. On billionaires.

Woman doesn’t get paid for two months and her boss has the absolute gall to be upset that she told the payroll department in no uncertain terms that it cannot happen again (and that HR agreed with her!). I am so glad that people like Allison (and Bad Advice) exist to give this person the dressing-down they so deeply, deeply deserve.

I half expect Jane to show up on AITA in about 6 months asking if she overreacted to some awful situation her boss put her in, because unfortunately, even after getting dressed down like this, these people don’t learn.

That’s a great response! I saw the initial letter from the manager a while ago on Reddit, but never saw the response.
I hope Jane does get transferred. What a horrible manager!

@PsiPhiGrrrl - but, but, immigrants are ruining the economy! /s
I’m sure some of those same farmers also accept farm subsidies and then complain about socialism and social support programs for those in need. Hypocrites.
