I once had a performance review where I got a 3 out of 5 for attendance. I hadnât missed a day or even been late more than twice for an entire year. I asked how could I do better-after all, I could hardly be there more than I was scheduled, right? My boss told me that they werenât allowed to give more than a 3 for that, because perfect attendance was just what was expected of us.
