I have to say, in much more shocking news, until now Yogi Berra was still alive. Wow! I thought he was largely apocryphal.
I also thought he was cryptic. Ha.
I expect a large turnout for the funeral. As he once said, “always go to other people’s funerals, otherwise they won’t come to yours.”
That emotion – the emotion of learning someone is dead when you had no idea they were still alive to be dead just now – is something I style as “premorse”; I don’t mean any sadness you feel from the person being dead, but from your own ignorance that was mooted only now.
