Overall it would be optimal if works were never non-consensually incorporated into training sets in the first place, but this tool created by Herndon and Dryhurst is a good one.
Iām a big fan of Holly Herndon and she has been using āAIā in her work for a long time at this stage.
I do mostly agree with the criticisms at the end of the article unfortunately.

The recommendations are along the lines of āeducateā, āinvestā and still more or less leave the average citizen on their own IMHO. Calls for a Butlerian Jihad are notably absent.

If a pause is not put in place soon, the letter said governments should step in and create a moratorium.
