I didn’t know until just now that this existed…
And the classic cover by Cowboy Junkies…
That song was my first introduction to his work! He was utterly unafraid to experiment there towards the latter part of his career. You can really see the influence of Walker on Connelly’s song-writing style…
And this reminds me… he (Connelly, not Walker from beyond the grave) recently did a whole tribute to Nico… a bunch of covers of her work and then a bunch of songs in tribute to her…
