I think Tina Turner the musical is touring but Tina retired a while ago. She’s not in the best health.
She’s one of the few people I regret never seeing live.

This came up in my news feed.
How about a two fer. Adam Lambert covers The Muffin Man impersonating Cher Believe.
He’s pretty talented.
Thanks, that’s more plausible than what I was thinking. That ticket link on the video made me do a double-take!
Same here.
Some Lita Ford
Runaways
I alway liked Pat Benetar’s version of this John Cougar song.
Yup, it’s a cover.
The Boy In The Bubble
Graceland
I Know What I Know
Gumboots
Diamonds on the Soles of Her Shoes
Call Me Al
Under African Skies
Homeless
Crazy Love Vol II
That Was Your Mother
All Around The World or The Myth of Fingerprints
This reminds me of what an incredible album Graceland is.
So many other favorites fall in this category:
Different Drum (Stone Poneys/Nesmith)
Lotta Love (Nicolette Larson/Neil Young)
State of Independence (Donna Summer/Vangelis and Jon Anderson)
Do Ya (ELO/The Move)
Poor Poor Pitiful Me (Linda Ronstadt/Zevon)
First Cut is the Deepest (PP Arnold and Rod Stewart/Cat Stevens)
Winning (Santana/Ballard), as well as pretty much any Russ Ballard song, the guy was a hard rock hit machine for everyone other than himself.
I really wanted this to be Zappa’s Muffin Man.
You thought he was a man, but he was a muffin.
Tommy Shaw (Styx) and Jack Blades (Night Ranger) got together in the 90s for an original album but in 2007 they did a cover album called Influence with songs that influenced them. It’s a great album. So is the Hallucination album from the 90s.
Don’t forget my 3rd offering above:
[Miley Cyrus feat. WATT, Elton John, Yo-Yo Ma, Robert Trujillo, Chad Smith – “Nothing Else Matters”] [K.D. Lang sings Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah] This one’s a ringer, as it’s actually THEIR song: [Lowen & Navarro -We Belong]
I personally prefer Lowen & Navarro singing their own song, but of course everyone knows Pat Benatar’s version.

I just learnt (following mentions of Tina Turner above) that Simply The Best was originally recorded by Bonnie Tyler.
I love that one and never knew it was a cover! I just really like Kim Deal’s voice.
Here’s Tanya Donnelly and Kim Deal covering Chris Bell:
And for good measure… TMC’s cover of I am the Cosmos:
The better Canadian rock band, Triumph.
Yup, Nazareth covered the Everly Brothers
I love the way he says cocaine.
And now for something completely different…
