I was lucky enough to see their pre-Gwar band, Death Piggy play a bunch of times.
I managed the catch them at Dragon*Con one year back in the 90s… gwar, not death piggy…

I’m in Germany as of this morning. I was wandering around Stuttgart this evening and happened across a multicultural festival with the Congo Cowboys playing country and bluegrass tunes in a mixed Congolese/American style. The first song I heard them play was Jolene and they killed it. Better live than the attached video, but you can get the idea
