Are they gonna compete against Stream, Epic Game Store and Amazon’s streamer? No.
Are they doing this to compete against Twitch’s integrations into games and other services? Definitely.
This isn’t great news for the folks at Chess dot com who have leaned into streamers. Games like that and other board and card games being built into YouTube’s streaming services can be a boon for them compared to Twitch’s recent dramas and Kick’s risky bs moves
