I think these all bear far too much resemblance to their actual subject matter than either pulp novel covers or video game boxes ever tended to. But nonetheless, they’re quite nice.

I believe that’s a quote from the manual, which was either purposely misleading or more likely just forced into a gender when translated as its easier to refer to someone in a non-gender specific way in Japanese.
