A ‘real time’ strategy game, you say? You mean it takes months or years to play?
Can I say how much I loathe this mis-use of the phrase ‘real time’ as a complement to turn-based strategy? These games are anything but ‘real’ in their hyperactive timing. Say that they’re continuous play, or even non-turn-based, but please don’t pretend that there is anything ‘real’ about building, say, a refinery in minutes while bullets and energy beams are flying all around.
Strategy takes time and thought, tactics is what happens in the continuous now.
