Maybe it does matter because women and especially young women are often dismissed, even clearly talented women, and maybe it’s kind of a shame that Taylor Swift isn’t taken as seriously as she should be? Although, perhaps we shouldn’t forget that she’s also kind of awesome because she’s not taken as seriously as she should be? And that it’s contradictory but is part of what I love about her?
