Well the water wheel is obviously faux, since it’s turning counter-duckwise. I was hoping afraid it was going to grind them up.

Who* doesn’t love a water slide?
*amend to include “what” at your leasure.
They’re racing to try to get the food that is placed just out of reach at the top of the slide. It’s a cruel and obnoxious set up for the entertainment of humans.

If you look again, you’ll see the feed-water at the top of the water wheel make the wheel turn CCW. The ducks, of course, aren’t climbing the water wheel…
