Maybe the same-day is gone but eBay certainly is not out.
Given how Amazon has been jacking their shipping costs in favor of getting people to switch to prime, most eBay sellers now offer a better price when you factor in shipping speed and cost.

It’s a new feature on BoingBoing. If a website changes one aspect of their service, make a headline proclaiming the demise of the entire company. Should have made it say the internet itself is finished.
