Don’t know about Oculus Rift stuff, but the movie Banshee Chapter is kind of fun, has a Hunter S Thompson character among other things from beyond.
I saw that and literally said “eww” aloud.

I took a quick look at it and it’s just a movie in a black box. Beyond being 3D there is nothing in particular that is made for VR. Unless there is a particular scene or piece of the movie that they shot for VR.
This seems like a cheap publicity stunt (which seems to have worked) rather than the “first full-length feature made for the Oculus Rift”.
