They forgot to mention the step of having your dog bark in the background.
Seriously, though, I wonder if the resin would preserve a dandelion flower just as well. A friend of mine tried to make cicada paperweights during one of the cyclical invasions. Unfortunately when they died their beady red eyes turned black.
