I’m all for interpretation, but I’m having a hard time with Giger-esque here. Inspired by is reading to me how “Inspired by the novel” does in movies where there is a vague connection to the original premise and the movie runs down it’s own path. Almost feels like Giger got retrofitted in somehow.
