They were the only band that mattered.
These demos were collected and released on the Legacy edition (25th anniversary) of London Calling.
As much as I can’t stop listening to The Clash after all these years, somehow the Vanilla Tapes material never ended up in my regular rotation. Neat to hear at least once though.
