I love the story about Before They Make Me Run, where apparently Keith spent 5 days in the studio trying to get it right, till he passed out underneath the console.
@Agnosian, 970 was special, it come on the air fall of 1991 as I started college, the first station to play real punk and other alternative stuff I had ever heard. Being a massively unpopular dork I had long known friends into non-top 40 alternative stuff who would share or mix tapes, I had to play the mix tapes on my TRS-80’s “tape drive” cassette deck secretly wired into an inherited phono cabinet turned book cupboard which still had working speakers.
