Saw Firefall as the opening act for Foreigner in 1977 in Salt Lake. Probably one of the the most horrible live bands ever. Made me wonder if they were indeed one of those touring bands of the late 50s who were fronts for studio outfits who had to put a live act on the road to support record sales.
You’re very much on my wavelength with the music submissions this week, Jason… My response to your Firefall submission is my favorite track of theirs… “Strange Way”. Gotta love those repeated staccato string hits in the chorus.
