Hey, other than ‘500 years ago everyone knew the earth was flat’ (it’s more like 2300 years), it’s all kinda true. Herd Mentality has advantages and disadvantages, in nature.
Did anyone ever think the Earth is flat, aside from crazy people? It doesn’t take an astrolabe or a sextant to notice that a mountain disappears under the horizon as you walk away from it.

You’d be surprised.. Even once the ancient greeks ‘knew’, they took a while to assert it with real confidence.
Land travel used to be much much much slower, and land has this annoying habit of not being perfectly flat in most places, and therefore having kind of an uneven horizon. Seafaring people, what with the closer-to-flat horizon and higher speed compared to land travel likely noticed the curvature of the earth first.
Wow! That is a big muddle there.
The Legislator makes the laws. Courts apply and interpret laws. In all these instances men / women are involved, so obviously they are the laws of men / women. What is the issue here?
Who other than men / women should make laws (or rules in your terminology), squirrels?
